Do you file my returns for me?
No. StateSheet is a preparation tool. It organizes your numbers and deadlines, and you submit each return and payment yourself on the state's website. We never file or pay on your behalf.

No. StateSheet is a preparation tool, not tax advice, and we're not accountants or tax advisors. You're responsible for checking the figures and for what you file. For questions about your own situation, like whether you have nexus in a state or whether a product is taxable, talk to a qualified tax professional.
Do I need to register in each state first?
Yes. You have to register with each state where you're required to collect sales tax before you can file there. StateSheet helps once you have those registrations.
